Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellation and refunds work for paid TuringDNA plans. The short version: you can cancel at any time, you keep what you paid for until the end of the period, and your statutory rights always come first.
Who you are buying from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, issues your receipt and invoice, handles sales tax and VAT, and processes refunds. Your purchase is therefore also covered by Paddle’s Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Where this page and Paddle’s policy differ, whichever gives you more rights applies.
The free plan
The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it, or ask us to delete your account, at any time — see the Terms.
Subscriptions
- Cancel at any time. Use the “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle receipt email, or go to paddle.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You keep access until then. Paid features stay available until the period you paid for ends, and you will not be charged again.
- Renewals. A renewal payment is not refunded because a subscription was not cancelled in time, except where the law of your country requires it. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
One-time purchases
One-time purchases, such as additional compute credits, are added to your account straight away. Credits you have already used cannot be refunded, because the compute behind them has already run. If you ask within 14 days of purchase, we will refund any credits from that purchase you have not used, through Paddle.
When something goes wrong
If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or a technical problem on our side stopped you from using what you paid for, email info@turingdna.com within 14 days. We will look into it and, where we are at fault, refund you through Paddle.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country. Consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK, for example, generally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services; this applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment of a subscription, and other countries set their own periods. The right can be lost for digital content you have started to use after expressly agreeing to waive it. Paddle’s Refund Policy sets out the period that applies where you live.
Enterprise agreements
If your organisation has a written agreement with us, its refund and cancellation terms apply. Where that agreement is silent, this policy applies.
How to ask for a refund
- Use the support link in your Paddle receipt, or go to paddle.net and choose “Request refund”; or
- email info@turingdna.com with the address you bought with and your order number, and we will handle it with Paddle.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method where possible, usually within 14 days. Access to a refunded plan or refunded credits ends when the refund is issued.
Chargebacks
Please contact us or Paddle before disputing a charge with your bank. It is almost always faster, and a chargeback may pause access to your account while it is reviewed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in effect when you made a purchase applies to that purchase.
